Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using praeo ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of praeo.

2. Description of Service

praeo is an iOS application that monitors company careers pages and sends push notifications when new job postings are detected. praeo is a notification and monitoring tool — we do not guarantee job availability, application outcomes, or employment of any kind.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use praeo. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

4. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@praeo.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

• praeo offers a Free plan (up to 3 companies) and a Pro plan at $4.99 per month.
• The Pro plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• All billing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not process or store your payment information.
• To cancel your subscription, go to your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → praeo → Cancel Subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not issue refunds directly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the App or its underlying systems
• Use the App to spam, harass, or harm others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to interact with the App beyond its intended functionality

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within praeo is owned by Patrick Colligan. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

praeo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that job alerts will be delivered in real time. Job posting data depends on third-party careers pages which we do not control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Patrick Colligan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of praeo, including but not limited to missed job opportunities, lost data, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time by contacting support@praeo.app.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New York State.
